I enjoyed every minute of it.
When my husband and I arrived at the parking lot at 7:30 a.m., it was already packed. It felt more like noon instead of the early morning.
People were having fun, catching up, drinking and eating.
As the day went on, more and more people showed up to tailgate. Some had tickets and others did not.
What was clear was everyone was there hoping to watch a win in the next few hours either in person or on TV.
When it finally came time to wrap up the tailgating, people were hesitant. They've experienced the situation in the past.
Arrive early, party until noon, then watch the Browns lose. Not fun.
That's exactly what happened on Sunday.
All I know is the tailgating was a victory. I got to see numerous friends and enjoy a party atmosphere all in the middle of a parking lot.
It was much better than watching the game itself.
